Factory's AI does most of the setup for you. ## 1. Create your account Sign up at usewebfactory.com/signup. The wizard asks a few short questions: your business name, what services you offer, and your website if you have one. While you answer, Factory's AI gets to work. It reads your website, learns your brand colors and logo, finds your Google reviews, and builds a starting price list for your services. By the time you finish, your account is already set up. No website yet? No problem. Factory uses smart defaults for your type of business instead. You can change everything later. ## 2. Confirm what the AI built After signup, you review three quick screens: - Your brandLogo and colors, pulled from your website. Swap them if they look off. - Your servicesA starting catalog with prices. You can edit every number. - Your quote flowThe questions customers answer to get their instant price. ## 3. Check your prices Go to Catalog in the app. This is your price list. Every instant quote uses these numbers, so make sure they match what you really charge. See Services & pricing for details. ## 4. Try your own estimator Open Quick Quote (the home of the Tools tab). Type any address. Try your own house. Watch the satellite measure the lawn and price the job. This is exactly what your customers will see. Free trial: every new account starts on a free trial, so you can test quotes with real addresses before you pay. After the trial, pick a plan to keep quoting. See Plans & billing. ## 5. Share your quote link Every account gets a personal quote page with its own link. Send it in texts, put it in your Google Business profile, or add it to your ads. On a paid plan you can also embed it right on your own website. See Share & embed. ## What's next - Turn on automations so no lead goes cold (follow-ups are on by default). - Connect payouts so you can get paid online. - Invite your team in Team & settings. --- # Plans & billing Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/plans-and-billing Docs/ Get started / Plans & billing ## Plans & billing Start with a free trial. With Factory, they get a real, measured price in about 30 seconds, even at midnight. ## What the customer sees - They type their addressOn your quote page or your website widget. - Satellites measure the propertyFactory finds the home from above and measures the lawn automatically. - They answer a few short questionsThings like which services they want. You choose the questions. - They see their priceReal prices from your own price list, plans, one-time services, and add-ons. - They book or payDepending on your setup: request the service, pick a plan, or check out by card. ## How measurement works Factory looks up the property from the address and measures the lawn using satellite and aerial imagery, helped by AI. For most homes this takes a few seconds. If imagery can't give a confident answer, the customer simply picks their lawn size from easy visual choices (small, medium, large) instead. Either way, they always get a price. Good to know: measurements are estimates for quoting. You can always review a property and adjust the size before you do the work. ## Three ways to quote Way Who uses it Your quote page Customers, from the link you share anywhere. Your website widget Visitors on your own site (paid plans). Quick Quote in the app You, on the phone with a customer. Type their address and read them the price. ## What happens after a quote Every quote works for you, even if the customer doesn't buy right away: - A contact is created with their name, address, and lawn size. - The quote shows up in your Requests inbox. - The customer gets their quote by email with a link to come back to it. - Automations follow up over the next days, automatically. ## Where the prices come from Instant quotes use your Catalog: your services, your prices, your rules. Flat prices, price per square foot, or size-bucket pricing, the engine handles it and always shows the customer the right number. --- # Customize your estimator Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/customize-your-estimator Docs/ Instant quotes / Customize your estimator ## Customize your estimator Your estimator should look like your company. Change the branding, the questions, and the style, no code needed. ## Open the editor In the app, go to Tools → Instant Quotes → Customize. You'll see a live preview next to the settings. Changes show up in the preview as you make them, and nothing goes live until you save. ## Your brand - Logo. Shows at the top of your quote page. Comes from your Brand kit. - Colors. Buttons and accents use your brand colors. Edit them in Settings → Brand kit: 11 colors, fonts, and more. - Watermark. Quote pages show a small "Powered by Web Factory" mark. Pro plans can turn it off. ## The questions The estimator walks customers through short steps: address, services, options, contact info. In the editor you control which services show, what the steps say, and what happens at the end (request, book, or pay). Keep it short. Fewer questions means more finished quotes. Ask only what you need to price the job. ## Icon style Service choices can show two kinds of icons. Pick in the editor's Design settings: Style Look Simple Clean line icons. Quiet and professional. Illustrated Friendly full-color pictures for each service. More playful, stands out. ## Preview and publish - PreviewUse the phone and desktop preview to see exactly what customers get. - Test it yourselfRun a quote with your own address before sharing. - SaveYour live quote page updates right away. ## Next step Happy with the look? Share your link and embed it on your website. --- # Share & embed your estimator Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/share-and-embed Docs/ Instant quotes / Share & embed ## Share & embed Your estimator only works if people can find it. Put your link everywhere customers look. ## Your quote link Every account has a personal quote page with its own web address. Find it under Tools → Instant Quotes: use the Copy link button. Great places for the link: - Your Google Business profile (as the website or booking link) - Text messages when someone asks for a price - Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor posts - Paid ads, send clicks straight to a price - Your email signature and invoices ## Embed it on your website On a paid plan you can put the estimator right on your own site. Copy the snippet from the app (Instant Quotes → Embed) and paste it into your page: It works on any website builder that allows custom code: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, and more. The widget matches your brand and works great on phones. Note: embedding needs a paid plan. Your shareable quote link works on the free trial. See Plans & billing. ## Tips that get more quotes - Say "instant". "Get an instant quote" beats "Contact us" every time. - Put it above the fold. The widget should be the first thing visitors see on your site. - Answer fast. Quotes land in your Requests inbox. Fast replies win jobs. --- # Services & pricing (Catalog) Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/services-and-pricing Docs/ Instant quotes / Services & pricing ## Services & pricing The Catalog is your price list. Every instant quote uses it, so getting it right is the most important setup step. ## Open the Catalog Go to Catalog in the app sidebar. It has tabs for your services, packages, the price matrix, and pricing rules. ## Services, packages, and add-ons - Services are single things you sell: mowing, aeration, a weed treatment. - Packages bundle services into plans, like Basic, Standard, and Premium lawn programs. Plans are great for repeat revenue. - Add-ons are extras a customer can tack on, like grub control or pet-waste cleanup. ## How prices can work Model Example Flat Mulch delivery: $150, every time. Per square foot Fertilization: $0.004 per sq ft of lawn. Size buckets Small lawn $45, medium $60, large $80. Tiered Price steps that change at set sizes. Because quotes are measured from satellite imagery, per-square-foot and bucket pricing "just work", the engine knows the lawn size before the customer sees a price. ## The price matrix The Price matrix tab shows all your prices in one grid. Click any cell and type to change it, like a spreadsheet. It's the fastest way to review your whole rate card at once. ## Pricing rules The Rules tab holds the smart stuff: - Prescriptions: recommend the right plan based on the customer's answers. - Upsells: offer the right add-on at the right moment. - Multipliers: adjust price for things like lot difficulty. - Terms: how plans bill (for example, per visit or per month). ## The AI pricing copilot Not sure what to charge? Open the chat in the Catalog and ask. Try: - "Raise all my mowing prices by 10%." - "What should aeration cost for a half-acre lawn in my area?" - "Make my Premium plan a better deal than Standard." The copilot shows you a preview of every change before it touches your prices. Nothing changes until you approve it. Tip: after big price changes, run a test quote on a familiar address to sanity-check the numbers customers will see. --- # The Requests inbox Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/requests Docs/ Customers & jobs / Requests inbox ## The Requests inbox Requests is where new business shows up. Every quote a customer runs and every callback they ask for lands here, ready for action. ## Two kinds of requests Tab What's in it Quotes People who ran an instant quote. You can see what they were quoted and how far they got. Call requests People who asked you to call them back instead of finishing online. ## Inside a request Click any request to open it. You'll see: - The customer's name, address, and contact info - The property and its measured lawn size - The exact services and prices they saw - When they asked, so you know who's waited longest ## Respond fast, win more Speed wins jobs. Companies that reply within minutes close far more work than ones that reply the next day. Factory helps: - New requests show on your Home screen as tasks. - Callback requests get their own red lane on the Jobs board so they're impossible to miss. - Even if you're slow, automations keep following up with the customer for you. Tip: check Requests first thing every morning. It's your list of people who already want to buy. --- # Contacts: your customer list Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/contacts Docs/ Customers & jobs / Contacts ## Contacts Contacts is your customer list. Factory builds it for you, every quote, booking, and chat becomes a record automatically. ## Contacts create themselves You never have to type in a lead. A contact is created (or updated) whenever someone: - Runs an instant quote - Requests a callback - Books time on your calendar - Talks to your AI receptionist - Fills out a form on your website You can also add contacts by hand, handy for referrals and phone leads. ## What's on a contact - Basics: name, phone, email, and service address - History: their quotes, jobs, and invoices in one place - Tags: label people however you like, "VIP", "north route", "2026 prepay" - Notes: gate codes, dog names, "call after 5pm" - Marketing status: whether they can receive marketing email ## Where contacts show up Contacts connect everything. The same record follows the customer from their first quote in Requests, through the Jobs board, onto the calendar, and into invoices. Tip: use tags for routes and neighborhoods. Filtering "north route" contacts makes scheduling a tight day easy. --- # The Jobs board Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/jobs Docs/ Customers & jobs / Jobs board ## The Jobs board The Jobs board answers one question at a glance: where is every job right now? ## How the board works Each job is a card. Each column is a stage, from new lead, to quoted, to scheduled, to done. Drag a card to move a job forward. Click a card to open the full job: customer, property, price, and history. ## The stages Jobs move left to right as they progress. A typical flow: - New leadSomeone quoted or reached out. No commitment yet. - QuotedThey have a price in hand. Follow-ups are running. - ScheduledIt's on the calendar. - In progress → DoneWork happens, then it's time to invoice. The red lane: callback requests get their own Callback requested column so a "please call me" never gets buried. ## Jobs that move themselves You don't have to drag everything. Factory moves cards automatically when real things happen, a new quote creates a card, and automations can advance a job when a customer books or pays. Automatic moves are marked, so you always know what happened. ## Tips - Work the board right to left: finish and invoice done work first, then chase quotes. - Open a card to add tasks and notes so nothing about the job lives in your head. --- # Conversations: chats & email in one inbox Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/conversations Docs/ Customers & jobs / Conversations ## Conversations Conversations is your message center. Chats from your website and emails to your customers, all in one inbox. ## What's inside Tab What's in it Chats Every conversation your AI receptionist has with website visitors, full transcripts. Emails Every email Factory sends for you: quotes, follow-ups, reminders, and invoices, plus your own messages. ## Reading a conversation Pick a conversation in the left list to read it. You'll see exactly what the customer saw, including how emails looked in their inbox. Search and filters help you find a thread fast. ## Sending a message Use Compose to email a customer directly from the app. Replies go to your own email address, so the conversation continues where you already work. ## Why it matters - See what automations said. Every automatic follow-up is right here, no mystery messages. - Catch hot leads. A chat that asked about pricing is a lead worth calling today. - One history. When a customer says "you emailed me last week," you can see exactly what they mean. --- # Automations: follow-ups that send themselves Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/automations Docs/ Customers & jobs / Automations ## Automations Most quotes don't close on day one. Automations do the following up, so you don't have to remember to. ## What runs out of the box These recipes are on by default for every account: Recipe What it does Quote follow-up Emails the customer 2, 5, and 9 days after a quote they didn't finish, inviting them back to their price. Event reminders Reminds customers about upcoming appointments so fewer people no-show. ## They know when to stop Automations check before every send. Follow-ups stop on their own when the customer books, pays, or the job moves forward. Nobody gets a "come back!" email after they already bought. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and Factory honors it automatically. ## Turning recipes on and off - Open AutomationsIn the app sidebar, under Engage. - Pick a recipeSee what it sends and when. - Flip the switchOn or off, per recipe. Changes apply right away. ## See what was sent Every automatic email shows up in Conversations, so you always know exactly what your customers received and when. Why it matters: a lead followed up three times is worth far more than a lead followed up zero times, and zero is what most busy crews manage by hand. --- # Calendar & scheduling Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/calendar Docs/ Run the work / Calendar & scheduling ## Calendar & scheduling The calendar is where quotes turn into planned work. See your whole week, move things with a drag, and keep every visit on time. ## Month and week views Open Calendar in the app. The month view shows the big picture; the week view shows your day-by-day plan. Drag an event to a new day or time to reschedule it, done. ## Creating an event - Click a time slotOr use the new-event button. - Pick the typeA job visit, an estimate, a meeting, you can set up your own event types with colors. - Attach the customerLink a contact so the address and details ride along. - Assign your peopleChoose who's doing the work. ## Repeating visits Lawn care runs on repeat. Set an event to recur, weekly mowing, monthly treatments, and the calendar fills in the whole series. Change one visit or the whole series, your choice. ## Online booking Customers can request time with you as part of a quote, and those requests land on your calendar for approval. You stay in control of your schedule. ## Tips - Batch jobs by neighborhood to cut windshield time. Tags help here. - Event reminders go out automatically, so fewer customers forget you're coming. --- # Invoices & payments Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/invoices-and-payments Docs/ Run the work / Invoices & payments ## Invoices & payments Do the work, send the invoice, get paid, without chasing checks. Customers pay online by card in a couple of taps. ## First: connect payouts Go to Payments in the app and connect your bank through Stripe, the payment company trusted by millions of businesses. It takes a few minutes. After that, card payments flow to your bank account automatically. ## Creating an invoice - Start from a job or from InvoicesCustomer and amounts fill in from the job when you have one. - Add your line itemsServices, quantities, prices, and any notes. - Preview everythingThree tabs show exactly what the customer gets: the invoice PDF, the email, and the payment page. - SendThe customer gets a clean, branded email with a "Pay now" button. Your brand, everywhere: invoices, emails, and the payment page all use your logo and brand color from Settings → Brand kit. ## How customers pay The email's button opens a simple payment page. The customer enters their card and pays, on any device, no account needed. You'll see the invoice flip to Paid in the app the moment it happens. ## Tracking money - Invoice list shows every invoice and its status: draft, sent, paid. - Each payment is linked to the customer's contact and job. - Payouts and card fees are handled by Stripe; see your payout schedule in the Payments area. ## Common questions Can customers pay right inside an instant quote?+ Yes. You can let customers check out by card at the end of the quote flow, prepay a service or start a plan. Do I need my own Stripe account?+ Factory sets one up for you during payout connection. You just answer Stripe's identity and bank questions. --- # Your AI website Source: https://trywebfactory.com/docs/website Docs/ Your website / AI website ## Your AI website Beta Need a website too? Factory builds a complete one for your business, real pages, real writing, your brand, with your instant estimator wired in. ## What you get - A full site: home, services, about, contact, written for your business and your area. - Your estimator, built in: "Get an instant quote" buttons that open your quote flow. - A blog: starter posts included, and you can publish more from the app. - Popups: offer banners that turn visitors into leads. - The AI receptionist: a chat helper on every page. ## Editing your site Open Website in the app. From the hub you can edit pages, write blog posts, manage popups, and change your design. Can't find yours? Scroll down and use the Ask AI box. ## About Factory What is Factory?+ Factory is the operating system for modern lawn care. It gives your customers an instant, satellite-measured quote from just their address, then runs the rest of your business: requests, contacts, jobs, scheduling, invoices, online payments, automated follow-ups, and an optional AI-built website. What is the best lawn care software for instant quotes?+ Factory is built to be the #1 instant-quote platform for lawn care. Unlike general field-service tools that bolt on a contact form, Factory starts with the quote: satellite measurement, your real prices, and a booked job in about 30 seconds, then handles jobs, invoicing, and follow-ups in the same app. Who is Factory for?+ Lawn care, fertilization and weed control, pest control, and similar outdoor home services. It fits solo operators, growing crews, and multi-crew companies. How is Factory different from tools like Jobber or Yardbook?+ Most field-service tools focus on managing work you already won. Factory focuses on winning the work first, instant, measured quotes that convert clicks into booked jobs, and then manages the work too. If your bottleneck is getting quotes out fast, that difference is the whole game. ## Quotes & measurement How accurate are satellite measurements?+ Accurate enough to quote confidently for most residential lawns. Measurement combines satellite and aerial imagery with AI. When imagery can't give a confident answer, the customer picks their lawn size from simple visual options instead, so they always get a price. You can review and adjust any property before doing the work. Do customers need an account to get a quote?+ No. They type their address, answer a few short questions, and see their price. That's it. Can I quote over the phone with it?+ Yes. Quick Quote in the app is made for exactly that: type the caller's address and read them a measured price while they're still on the line. ## Pricing & trial How much does Factory cost?+ Factory is $97/month. There is one plan and it includes everything: there is no cheaper tier and no more expensive one. See Plans & billing or the pricing page. Is there a free trial?+ Yes, sign up through the website and every new account starts on a free trial, so you can try the platform before you're charged. ## Payments & data Can customers pay online?+ Yes. Customers pay invoices by card on a simple payment page, and you can even take payment at the end of a quote. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. Is my data safe?+ Your business data belongs to you. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never touch Web Factory's servers. Access to your account is protected by your login and your team's roles. Can I export my customers?+ Yes, your contacts are yours. If you ever need help getting data out, contact support from inside the app. ## Website questions Do I need a new website to use Factory?+ No. Keep your current site and embed the estimator on it, or just share your quote link. The AI-built website is optional. Does the estimator work on phones?+ Yes, it's designed phone-first, since most customers quote from their phone. {"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"FAQPage","mainEntity":[ {"@type":"Question","name":"What is Factory?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Factory is the operating system for modern lawn care.
